The Fire Watchman pyrometer provides real-time data monitoring and data logging of up to sixteen thermocouples simultaneously, with wireless monitoring both onsite via WI-FI and remotely via The Cloud. The Fire Watchman features a full color, easy to read, backlit capacitive sensitive touch screen monitor, programmable set temperature alarm, with WI-FI, cellular, and cloud connectivity. Receive text alerts and log on anywhere to monitor your burn data. The Fire Watchman pyrometer displays all sixteen thermocouples, the set alarm temperature and alarm status, current date and time, if USB logging is enabled, if memory is full, if Cloud data is enabled, and power status. The Fire Watchman is supported by a one year warranty.
The USB data logging feature of the Fire Watchman pyrometer allows for up to a 20 year history of the burn room temperatures to be stored on a 16GB USB Drive. The data file, on the USB, is compatible with most spreadsheet software and can be graphed or archived using a PC. With The Cloud service, data is automatically graphed and stored on the cloud, and can be viewed in real time. The power and the data logging on the Fire Watchman is thermally activated, meaning the Fire Watchman automatically turns on and starts logging data at a set temperature of 150 or 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The Fire Watchman and the data logging can also be manually turned on with a toggle switch on the left side near the weather sealed USB port.
The WI-FI connectivity features the ability to broadcast temperature information to any iPhone or Android device at an average range of 150 feet and a maximum line of sight distance of up to 300 feet. The free VNC Viewer app (Downloadable via the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store) mirrors/displays all of the information found on the screen of the pyrometer along with the ability to change the alarm set temperature, notify the user if the alarms are tripped, or if you are disconnected from the pyrometer. This feature allows the training/safety officer to be away from the area where the pyrometer is installed, while still being able to monitor the temperatures within the burn rooms.
The Fire Watchman’s optional cellular and Cloud service capabilities, allow the customer to receive instant text message alerts and the ability view real time burn data at any location that has Cloud access. The Cloud service offers multiple burn logging data widgets, including bar and line graphs, along with an alarm event list.
The Fire Watchman is hardwired and requires 120Vac power. The Fire Watchman and its junction box have provisions to connect to optional external audible/visual alarms. The alarm contacts are rated for 2A at 250VAC or 2A@30VDC and include both normally open (N.O.) contacts and normally closed (N.C.) contacts.
